An Orientation Session for the parents and students of Class IX was conducted on 7 May 2026 to familiarise them with the latest changes introduced by CBSE in alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP). The session apprised parents and students of the new language scheme (R1 and R2), as well as the Advanced courses in Mathematics and Science.
The integration of History, Geography, Economics, and Political Science into a unified Social Science framework was explained in detail.
Additionally, the introduction of vocational subjects, Computational Thinking, and Artificial Intelligence was discussed, with emphasis on experiential and activity-based learning.
The session aimed to address parents’ queries and concerns regarding the new educational reforms. Ms. Ekta Kathuria and Ms. Sunita Meel further guided the attendees through a detailed presentation and interactive discussion.
The orientation concluded with a message encouraging strong collaboration between parents and the school for the holistic development of students.
