The Excellence Award Ceremony along with the Investiture Ceremony was conducted with great enthusiasm and pride at Dharav High School, Vidhyadhar Nagar. The occasion celebrated academic achievements, student leadership and holistic excellence.
The ceremony was graced by the Director, Ms. Aditi Misra, as the Chief Guest. She was accompanied by esteemed dignitaries Ms. Nishi Dhanjal, Principal Dharav High School, Ajmer Road, Ms. S. Anjum, Associate Director- Academics, Ms. Renuka Fernandez , Senior School Coordinator and parents of the awardees and newly elected Student Council members were also present, adding warmth and encouragement to the event.
The highlight of the programme was the Investiture Ceremony, where the newly elected Student Council formally assumed their responsibilities. The council members took the oath, pledging sincerity, leadership and dedication towards upholding the values and ethos of the school.
Shantanu Singh Rathore was elected as the President, while Kashvee Agrawal and Arnav Pareek were appointed as the Head Girl and Head Boy respectively.
The event also honoured students for their outstanding achievements through the Excellence Awards, recognizing accomplishments in Academics, Sports, Music, Dance, Peer Counselling and various co-curricular domains.
In her inspiring address, the Director, Ms. Aditi Misra, emphasized the importance of authentic learning and spoke about contemporary educational concerns such as parenting and the growing issue of dummy schools. She encouraged students to pursue integrity, innovation and meaningful academic engagement.
The ceremony concluded on a note of pride and motivation, celebrating student excellence while reinforcing the spirit of leadership and responsibility among young learners.
