Dharav High School, Vidhyadhar Nagar, Jaipur celebrated Earth Day through an Eco Responsibility Drive from 20th to 23rd April 2026 to promote environmental awareness among students.
The initiative began with an introduction to Earth and a PPT on keeping our planet clean and green. Students learned about saving water, conserving electricity, and the importance of the 3Rs—Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle.
Various engaging activities like seed bomb making, Earth Day songs, and “Best Out of Waste” creations (planters, birdhouses, paper-mache models, badges, and bookmarks) were conducted. Students also made Earth model, designed awareness boards, and participated in the “Sow and Grow” activity by planting seeds such as fenugreek, mint, and gram.
A special assembly with a skit and poem spread awareness, while worksheets, creative writing, and a questionnaire helped assess learning. The drive successfully nurtured responsibility towards the environment.
Principal, Ms. Ritu Sharma, inspired students to adopt eco-friendly habits. The Director, Ms Aditi Misra, visited the school and interacted warmly with the students.She appreciated the students’ efforts, and motivated them to continue eco-friendly practices
