The Anveshan Club of Dharav High School, Vidhyadhar Nagar, organised an informative session on the safe use of atomic energy in collaboration with the Atomic Minerals Directorate (AMD), Jaipur.
The two-hour interactive programme was conducted by a team of 15 distinguished scientists, who highlighted the peaceful, safe and responsible applications of atomic energy.
Principal Ms. Ritu Sharma welcomed the delegation led by Scientific Officer Mr. Manoj Shandilya and encouraged students to explore the immense potential of atomic energy for national development.
The experts explained atomic energy as a clean and reliable source of power and showcased its applications in agriculture, healthcare and industry, while emphasising the stringent safety protocols followed in the sector.
Students also gained valuable insights into career opportunities in geology, engineering, physics, chemistry, earth sciences and scientific research.
The session witnessed enthusiastic participation, leaving students with a deeper understanding of the role of atomic energy in sustainable development and nation-building.
