Dharav High School, Vidhyadhar Nagar, Jaipur celebrated Bandhan – Rakhi Harmony on 27 August 2026 for students of Pre-Nursery to Prep.
Children creatively made beautiful Rakhis using reusable materials such as bottle caps, waste paper, old Rakhis, wedding cards, buttons and decorative pieces, promoting an eco-friendly celebration.
They tied Rakhis to guards, nannies, teachers and other helpers, expressing love, respect and gratitude. They also tied Rakhis to trees and learned from Principal Ms. Ritu Sharma about the importance of protecting nature, beautifully carrying forward the message of Earth Day.
The celebration highlighted that Raksha Bandhan is a festival of love, care, respect and gratitude towards our siblings, helpers and nature. Prep students also made wrist bracelets and pledged to always care for and support their siblings.
