Raksha Bandhan was celebrated at Dharav High School, Vidhyadhar Nagar, Jaipur with great enthusiasm, creativity, and a strong spirit of love and patriotism.
The students participated in a Rakhi-Making Activity, creating beautiful and colourful Rakhis using creative materials and the concept of Best Out of Waste. The activity encouraged creativity, imagination, and a sense of togetherness among the students.
The Principal, Ms. Ritu Sharma, appreciated the creativity and efforts of the students in making the Rakhis. She shared that a Rakhi is a beautiful symbol of the bond of love and care between siblings, and also represents our respect and gratitude towards those who are always there to protect, support, and help us.
As a special part of the celebration, students visited the Army Area on 25th August to celebrate Raksha Bandhan with our brave soldiers. They lovingly tied their handmade Rakhis and presented greeting cards, expressing heartfelt gratitude for the soldiers’ courage, dedication and selfless service to the nation.
The meaningful interaction helped students understand the values of respect, gratitude, responsibility and patriotism, leaving them with cherished memories and a renewed sense of pride and appreciation for our armed forces.
