Dharav High School, Vidhyadhar Nagar, Jaipur, celebrated the Heritage Week – “Glory of India” for Classes I and II from 19th to 21st August 2026, showcasing the vibrant heritage and culture of Rajasthan and Nagaland.
Students participated in creative activities like decorating information boards, making sand-textured camel models from waste cardboards, Nagaland face masks, bandhanwars and tableaus displaying the food, culture, attire and traditions of both states.
A special Mini PTM featured a colourful Cultural Tour of Rajasthan and Nagaland through presentations and dance performances. Parents joined the celebration through creative activities such as making cardboard pendants, designing plates and jharokhas.
The celebration also included a food experience featuring delicacies from both states, a potter activity which was enjoyed by students and their parents, attractive selfie corners , informative videos and worksheets based on their learning.
Our Principal, Ms. Ritu Sharma appreciated the enthusiastic participation and highlighted the importance of celebrating India's rich cultural diversity.
The three-day celebration was a joyful blend of learning, creativity, culture and togetherness, making Heritage Week a memorable experience for all.
