Dharav High School, VDN, celebrated Teej Utsav with great enthusiasm, bringing alive the vibrant colours and traditions of Rajasthan. The celebration was a beautiful initiative to familiarise students with the cultural significance of Teej while nurturing a sense of community and togetherness.
The festivities beautifully incorporated traditional elements such as jhoola, lac bangles (lac ki churi), and leheriya, adding authenticity and colour to the celebrations. Students and parents participated enthusiastically, making the occasion lively and memorable. Traditional songs, dances and cultural activities further enhanced the festive spirit.
The celebration provided an enriching opportunity for students to experience and appreciate the rich cultural heritage of Rajasthan. Principal Ms Ritu Sharma appreciated the enthusiastic participation of students and parents and encouraged everyone to continue celebrating and preserving India’s diverse traditions.
