As part of its Eco Club initiatives, Dharav High School organised the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' plantation activity on 24 September 2026 on the school premises. Students from Nursery to Grade XII planted saplings of local varieties along with their mothers and pledged to nurture and care for them. The Principal, Ms. Ritu Sharma, highlighted that planting a tree with one’s mother is a meaningful expression of gratitude towards both mothers and Mother Earth. The activity sensitised students to biodiversity, ecological balance, local plant varieties and responsible environmental practices, while bringing students and parents together to contribute towards a greener and more sustainable environment.
