In collaboration with the Muskan Foundation, and Regional Transport Office-2, Vidhyadhar Nagar, a Road Safety Orientation programme was organized for senior students of Dharav High School. The workshop aimed to educate and sensitize students about the importance of road safety. It focused on promoting road safety awareness among students, emphasizing the need for responsible behaviour on roads.
Students from classes IX and XI participated in the hour-long programme. Mr Sameer Nainawat from MUSKAN Foundation, appraised the children on various rules that we must observe to ensure safety for all. He shared valuable insights and statistics on road accidents, highlighting the importance of adhering to traffic rules and regulations.
Inspector Dinesh Singh, Motor Vehicle Inspector, RTO Office, Vidhyadharnagar shed light on various legal aspects related to road safety, including the significance of adhering to traffic rules, the consequences of violating these laws, and the vital role each individual plays in ensuring the safety of themselves and others on the road. He also administered the road safety oath to the gathering.
