Dharav High School, Vidhyadhar Nagar, Jaipur, hosted the inaugural workshop of the Jaipur History Festival 2025 on ‘Mental Health and Well-being.’ The event aimed at promoting emotional resilience and self-awareness among educators, drawing participation from around 84 teachers representing 44 city schools.
Mr. Sandeep Sethi, Director of Education at MSMS-II Museum Trust, Jaipur, served as the keynote speaker, offering valuable insights into stress management, mindfulness and the significance of mental well-being in education. The hands-on sessions encouraged active participation, with teachers engaging in discussions, presenting insights from book analysis and developing a calendar of grade-specific activities to implement throughout the academic year.
The school Principal, Ms. Ritu Sharma emphasized the need for a nurturing learning environment, reinforcing mental well-being as a cornerstone of personal and academic success. The workshop successfully equipped educators with practical strategies to promote a supportive and mindful learning atmosphere.
