A group of enthusiastic students from Dharav High School, Vidhyadhar Nagar, Jaipur attended a FILMIT Workshop at Neerja Modi School, Jaipur. The program aimed to foster creativity and media literacy through short documentary filmmaking on topics like culture, heritage, environment, and social issues.
The interactive, hands-on session introduced students to scripting, shooting, and editing, with resource persons sharing guidance and inspiring past works. Students practiced using filmmaking equipment and gained skills in communication, collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking.
They returned motivated to create their own short films, with the best entries to be featured on the FILMIT platform and in inter-school film festivals. The workshop was an enriching step towards integrating media education into the school curriculum.
