The Spellathon Activity was conducted at Dharav High School, Vidhyadhar Nagar, Jaipur, on 13 October 2025, for the students of Grade 1 and Grade 2 to enhance their vocabulary, sound recognition, and spelling skills. The activity featured a variety of engaging rounds and exercises designed to make learning fun and meaningful for young learners.
Students participated enthusiastically in activities that helped them build simple words, and sort words based on their beginning and ending sounds. These tasks promoted phonetic awareness, listening, and sound recognition skills, along with overall language development. Children also enjoyed spelling words aloud, which strengthened their confidence and accuracy.
The Spellathon Activity was a resounding success, providing an enjoyable platform for students to enhance their language abilities. Our respected Principal Ms. Ritu Sharma appreciated the efforts of both students and teachers and expressed her delight that the students participated with great enthusiasm and confidence. She added that such activities not only enhance vocabulary and spelling skills but also encourage teamwork, creativity, and a love for learning.
