The Farmers’ Day Activity was conducted on 23rd December 2025 with great enthusiasm by the students of Classes I and II at Dharav High School, Vidhyadhar Nagar, Jaipur. The objective of the activity was to create awareness among young learners about the importance of farmers and farming.
As part of the celebration, students of Class I participated in a collage-making activity. They creatively used pictures of tools used by farmers such as ploughs, sickles, and watering cans. This activity helped the students understand the basic tools used in agriculture while enhancing their creativity.
Students of Class II decorated the bulletin boards on the theme “Farmers and Farming.” They used colourful drawings and cut-outs depicting farmers working in the fields, growing crops, and engaging in various farming activities. The bulletin boards looked attractive and effectively conveyed the importance of farmers in our lives.
To further enhance learning, students were shown an informative video related to farming. Students actively participated in all the activities and developed respect and appreciation for the hard work and dedication of farmers.
The Principal, Ms. Ritu Sharma, appreciated the efforts of the students and emphasized the importance of inculcating respect for farmers at an early age.
